Crosby 5/8″ S-423T Super TERMINATOR Wedge Socket with Round Pin & Cotter

Crosby® S-423T Super Terminator Wedge Socket is the first wedge socket termination designed specifically for high performance wire rope. The wedge socket secures the tail or “dead end” of the wire rope to the wedge, thus eliminating loss or “Punch out” of the wedge and the need for an extra piece of rope. It also eliminates the potential breaking off of the tail due to fatigue. The tail, which is secured by the base of the clip and the wedge, is left undeformed and available for reuse. Pin diameter and jaw opening allows wedge and socket to be used in conjunction with closed swage and spelter sockets. Basket is cast steel and individually magnetic particle inspected. This product meets or exceeds all ASME B30.26 requirements, and meets other critical performance requirements not addressed by ASME B30.26 including fatigue life, impact properties and material traceability. The S-423T Assembly includes Socket, Wedge, Pin, Wire Rope Clip, Tensioner, Bolts and Secondary Retention Wire.
