Crosby S-2160 Bolt Type Wide Body Shackles have an increased shackle bow radius which provides a minimum 58% gain in sling bearing surface and eliminates the need for a thimble. Crosby Wide Body Shackles greatly improve the wearability of high strength round slings, wire rope slings, and synthetic web slings. Importantly, these shackles meet other critical performance requirements including fatigue life, impact properties and material traceability, not addressed by ASME B30.26.
