DBI/Sala Sayfline Cable Horizontal Lifeline Systems are used to protect workers operating in the horizontal plane who may not have continuous access to suitable anchorage points. Highly portable, they are ideal for use in situations where welding sparks or harsh environments are present or where minimal clearance exists. This all-metal system is durable enough to be left in place for long periods of time and light enough to be moved easily from one job to another. A horizontal lifeline may appear to be a basic line strung between two anchors, but it is not. The DBI/Sala Sayfline Cable Horizontal Lifeline System is a complete system which includes termination, a simple turnbuckle type tensioner, an energy absorber and features a rugged 3/8″ (9.5mm) 7×19 galvanized cable lifeline. The Zorbit energy absorber limits fall arrest forces. The unique wedge grip termination provides ease of use, and the integral tension indicator provides an added safety. This flexible, 2- worker capacity system is available in various lengths to suit jobsite needs, and is equipped with i-Safe.
