ABSORBICA-I 80 is a single lanyard with a compact energy absorber, designed for progression on a horizontal lifeline (rope or cable) or on an elevated platform, without passing intermediate anchors. It has several connection options on the harness and can be used with different types of connectors.

• Ideal for horizontal lifelines (rope or cable) and elevated platforms, without the need to pass intermediate anchors
• Absorbs energy in the event of a fall:
  • Progressive tearing of the energy absorber webbing minimizes impact force during a fall
  • Compatible with a wide user weight range (60–140 kg)
• Minimal bulk ensures the lanyard does not hinder movement during progression
• Encased in a durable fabric pouch to protect against abrasion and contaminants
• Simple opening system allows easy access for regular inspection
• Installation Options:
  • Frequent connection/disconnection: Carabiner secured with STRING positioning accessory (included)
  • Semi-permanent connection: RING OPEN gated ring for optimal positioning
• Compatible with locking carabiners or MGO OPEN connectors for wide gate openings
